Heidelberg University Hospital is synonymous with high-quality medical and nursing care of the very highest standard. The existing funding structures ensure basic care – but often leave only limited scope for additional services and innovative developments, particularly in the field of nursing.
It is precisely here that important needs arise which go beyond standard care: support services for patients and their relatives, innovative care projects, measures to ease the burden on nursing staff, and targeted further education and training.
In order to implement these important initiatives and develop nursing care in a sustainable manner, the University Hospital relies on additional support.
