Welcome to the homepage of the nursing service at the Centre for Psychosocial Medicine (ZPM)!
We are pleased to be able to give you an insight into our nursing activities here.
Our centre combines three specialised clinics: the Clinic for General Psychiatry, the Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the Clinic for Internal Medicine and Psychosomatics at the Bergheim site.
Together, we offer comprehensive care and treatment that is individually tailored to the needs and resources of the people receiving care.
Our focus is on empowering care, interprofessional collaboration, the implementation of reference care concepts and the integration of care-led group and individual programmes. We also work across sectors, both inpatient and day-care and outpatient, and cooperate closely with the Prinzhorn Collection.
At the ZPM, we work interprofessionally according to the "state of the art" principle. Modern medical and nursing concepts guarantee relationship- and recovery-orientated care. The aim is to provide individualised and guideline-based support for the people being cared for and their relatives, with a particular focus on the family.
Other professions such as the education service, occupational therapy and work education continuously enrich our nursing team in order to ensure holistic care.
We ensure the quality of care through sustainable personnel development for psychosocial nursing staff and employees from the education service, occupational therapy and work education. This takes place under the targeted supervision and support of a nursing educator.
We attach great importance to continuous training and further education programmes, individual supervision and reflective learning processes. We want to promote your professional expertise, your personal development and your confidence to act in line with your needs. With our development strategy, we ensure that you can continuously expand your skills, integrate the latest scientific findings and provide high-quality, needs-orientated care.
