Skin Clinic - Centre

Professionally strong, humanly close

In the dermatology clinic, around 70 nursing staff ensure the treatment process in the ward and day clinic areas, outpatient clinic and central patient management and the dermatological operating theatre.
Nursing in dermatology covers a wide range of tasks that are tailored to the needs of patients with skin diseases. In addition to professional wound care, nursing activities also focus on skin assessment and observation, counselling, training and psychosocial support for patients and their relatives.

In the outpatient department, the main focus of the nursing staff and medical assistants is on scheduling and carrying out special consultations with infusion therapies and diagnostic assistance.

The close interprofessional co-operation is a particular feature of the nursing service at the Dermatology Clinic. The nursing service management team lives by the open-door principle. By dividing up areas of responsibility, personal contact persons from the nursing management team are defined for each area. This enables personal contact between employees at management level despite the size of the centre.

We are very pleased to be able to give you an insight into our departments on the following pages. We offer a varied working environment with numerous opportunities for personal, professional and academic development.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact the nursing management team or the ward managers of the respective departments. We look forward to hearing from you!
