Jaspers station
Clinic for General Psychiatry
-The Jaspers ward is an open ward for the treatment of people with affective disorders and schizoaffective disorders, in which the affective symptoms are in the foreground, as well as for the treatment of people with a disorder of emotion regulation.
-The treatment programme for patients with a predominant emotion regulation disorder is designed to teach basic emotion regulation skills as part of a six-week treatment concept based on dialectical behavioural therapy. Accordingly, it is aimed in particular at people who have not yet undergone any disorder-specific therapy in this area, while it is usually not suitable for patients who have already undergone DBT treatment.
-Integrated into the ward is a specialised mother/father/child unit with a maximum of six treatment places for patients with mental disorders associated with pregnancy, birth or parenthood. The service is aimed at parents with children aged 0-24 months and includes the option of admitting the mother or father together with the child for treatment.
