Paediatric Orthopaedics, Neuroorthopaedics and Foot Surgery Section

Station B1

In our paediatric orthopaedics department, we care for children and adolescents with orthopaedic and neuro-orthopaedic conditions - from infants to young adults - in a friendly, age-appropriate and trusting atmosphere.

Our nursing focus is on the loving and professional care of young patients before and after surgical procedures and during conservative treatments. Among other things, we care for children with hip joint disorders, gait disorders, axial misalignments or leg length discrepancies. Nursing not only includes the medically necessary care, but also age-appropriate mobilisation, targeted pain therapy and sensitive handling of fears and worries - both of the children and their parents. Within the framework of interdisciplinary cooperation with the paediatric clinic, paediatric neurosurgery and other specialist departments, we provide comprehensive and individual care. In addition to specialist knowledge, our nursing staff also have a great deal of empathy, patience and experience - because every child is unique and deserves care that is both individualised and heartfelt.
