Intensive care unit
Professionally strong and open-minded

This includes polytrauma, thoracic trauma, sepsis, coagulation disorders and complications following orthopaedic surgery. Respiratory weaning of highly paralysed patients and preparation for home ventilation are also part of our profile.
Our department has ten intensive care beds, six IMC beds and eight places in the recovery room. We work with modern procedures such as PICCO measurement, bronchoscopy, tracheotomy, PEG placement and kidney replacement with Genius devices. As part of the resuscitation team, we support the emergency care of the entire centre. Documentation is completely electronic via PDMS/COPRA.
We actively involverelatives in the care providedthrough an open visitor policy. In addition to doctors and physiotherapists, the interprofessional team also includes pastoral care and the psychological service. We discuss ethical issues in an interprofessional, interdisciplinary and transparent manner.
We are professionally strong, open-minded and work in a modern, diverse environment.
