Urology clinic
Additional nursing qualifications "wanted"
Nursing staff with a wide range of additional qualifications work at the Urology Centre. The team includes trained pain experts, nutrition experts, wound experts, oncological nurses, stoma experts and qualified practical instructors.
These specialised professionals are an integral part of our multi-professional team. Their central task is to pass on their expertise to colleagues, continuously improve the quality of nursing and ensure evidence-based care. Through regular training, interprofessional case discussions and individual guidance, they specifically promote the further development of all team members.
Our top priority is to provide our patients with the best possible care. We attach particular importance to holistic, individualised and professionally sound nursing care.
In order to support our patients' recovery in the best possible way, we rely on innovative and supportive therapies that are available to our nursing staff on the urology ward. These modern aids help to promote the healing process and increase well-being during the hospital stay.
These include, among other things
- VR glasses for pain therapy, which are used specifically for distraction and pain relief
- Ergometers for mobilisation and circulation activation
- Projectors with relaxing films (quick-up project) to promote well-being
- A wide range of mobilisation aids that enable safe and gentle movement
- Pneumatic compression devices for effective thrombosis prophylaxis
These technical aids not only support medical treatment, but also promote the physical and mental well-being of patients in everyday hospital life.
