Our nursing team plays a central role in the comprehensive care and treatment of our dermatology patients. At our clinic, we offer a wide range of dermatological treatment fields, which are covered by a variety of outpatient clinics and specialised consultations.

Our patients are treated both in the general outpatient clinic and in specialised consultation hours. If inpatient treatment is required, patients are admitted to the dermatology ward. Our centralised patient management plays a key role in all patient planning at the dermatology clinic, from outpatient and consultation appointments to referrals and surgery planning.
Emergency patients can be seen by the medical service at any time. If necessary, we decide together whether it is an acute emergency and how quickly treatment needs to be initiated.

Nursing services and tasks
Our nursing team performs a number of important tasks that are crucial to the success of treatment and the well-being of our patients. Our activities include

• Blood sampling and infusions: We ensure that blood samples are taken professionally and that infusions and intravenous catheters are set up and applied.
• Infusion therapies: For intravenous immunoglobulin therapies, we look after and monitor patients during treatment. Wound care and suture removal: We take over the
• wound care and perform suture removal as part of the post-inpatient check-up.
• Assisting with examinations: Our team assists with dermatological examinations and tissue sampling for diagnostic assurance.
• Dermogenius diagnostics and light therapy: We use state-of-the-art diagnostic techniques such as the Dermogenius method and assist with light therapies for the treatment of various skin diseases.
• Drug therapy and self-injection: Another important part of our nursing care tasks is guiding patients who are dependent on certain medications. We support them in self-injecting these medications so that they can continue their therapy independently.
• Swabs and diagnostic tests: Our team carries out swabs in all outpatient clinics, either to confirm a diagnosis or for inpatient admissions. We also take nail material or skin flakes for mycological examinations, always on the doctor's orders.
