Psychosomatic evening clinic

Clinic for Internal Medicine and Psychosomatics

-The evening clinic is a psychotherapeutic facility of the Clinic for General Internal Medicine and Psychosomatics within the Centre for Psychosocial Medicine.

-The evening clinic takes place three evenings a week for three hours each: Mondays and Wednesdays from 5pm to 8pm and Thursdays from 4.30pm to 7.30pm. We would like to make it possible to combine intensive therapy with other commitments, e.g. work and training or family responsibilities. For 8 patients, we offer an intensified outpatient therapy programme with a group therapy focus in combination with individual therapy. There is also an evening meal together.

-Patients with various complaints and all age groups from the age of 18 can take part. Our treatment focuses on depressive complaints/"burn-out", anxiety and crises around threshold situations and after stressful life events. Evening clinic treatment is recommended if outpatient psychotherapy is not sufficient for improvement and full inpatient or day clinic treatment does not appear necessary or if the impairment of a stable or stabilising everyday life is to be avoided through treatment. Existing outpatient psychotherapies are paused during the period of evening clinic treatment.
