The diagnosis of an oncological disease and the associated intensive therapy pose many challenges for our young patients and their families. The KiTZ nursing team provides competent care and support, offers dedicated advice with a wealth of experience and is always ready to listen. We accompany our families in a familiar atmosphere throughout the entire inpatient and outpatient therapy and place the needs of the children and adolescents at the centre of everything we do.

Our specialised nursing work includes the administration of cytostatic drugs and the associated management of side effects, which is often necessary. Comprehensive infusion therapy also determines our daily work.

Our nursing staff are specialised in various areas, from specialist oncological nursing and palliative nursing to pain management and aromatherapy. We work closely with the day clinic and the outpatient clinic to ensure continuous and compassionate care at all times
