General paediatrics and infectiology

Station K1 Infection

Our nursing team cares for children and adolescents suffering from acute infectious diseases and chronic lung diseases such as cystic fibrosis (CF) with a great deal of expertise and empathy, specialising in infectious diseases and pulmonology.
We support our young patients in often challenging phases of their lives - be it in the acute course of the disease or in everyday life with a chronic illness. We not only stand for professional care, but also for a trusting relationship.

As part of an interdisciplinary team, we work closely with doctors, therapists and other specialist areas to alleviate acute symptoms in the best possible way and improve quality of life in the long term. Our focus is on infusion therapy, the targeted administration of medication and the implementation and guidance of inhalation therapy.
We are particularly committed to counselling and guiding relatives - whether at home, in hospital or during transitions to other care systems. Our aim is to support chronically ill children and adolescents and their families in leading as self-determined and unrestricted a life as possible.

Our specialised nursing team at the day clinic attached to the department supports children and adolescents with a great deal of empathy and professional expertise. Whether infusion therapy, medication administration or support during examinations - we ensure safety, trust and individualised care.

In close cooperation with doctors and families, we create a protected environment for high-quality, child-orientated care - flexible, professional and always personal.
