Section for Spinal Surgery

Station J3

The spine is the central support system of our body and plays a crucial role in almost every movement. It protects the spinal cord and enables the transmission of signals between the brain and the body. Back pain is one of the most common reasons for visits to the doctor, which emphasises the importance of comprehensive and precise care for spinal disorders. In our spine centre, we offer holistic, patient-oriented treatment, ranging from precise diagnostics and conservative therapies to modern surgical procedures.

The nursing care on our ward ensures that every patient receives individual and optimal care - from pre-operative consultation to post-operative aftercare and long-term rehabilitation. Empathy, expertise and interdisciplinary cooperation are essential components of our daily work. We offer coordinated and holistic care through interprofessional collaboration with, for example, the physiotherapy and conservative orthopaedics and pain therapy departments.

Our team provides comprehensive post-operative nursing, which includes pain management, mobilisation and wound care, and accompanies patients on their way to the fullest possible recovery. We use the latest therapeutic approaches and minimally invasive techniques to ensure rapid healing with minimal stress. We focus on the individuality of the necessary treatment for our patients, so that we accompany our patients through every phase of their treatment with empathy and expertise.
