Haematology/Rheumatology comprises our Thannhauser Ackermann general ward (40 beds), our Theodor von Dusch haematology intensive care unit (16 beds) with the bone marrow transplantation unit KMT (8 beds) and our day clinic V with integrated leukapheresis.

Our teams work closely together on an interprofessional basis. This is a MUST for our immunocompromised patients and goes without saying. We teach you all kinds of specialised knowledge and special nursing care. We offer various further and advanced training courses in the field of oncology and haematology in particular.

With over 300 stem cell transplants a year, we are one of the largest and most renowned centres for haematology, oncology and rheumatology in Europe.

We offer innovative therapies of various kinds:

• Autologous stem cell transplantation: Unique in Germany, also on an outpatient basis in our day clinic
• Allogeneic stem cell transplantation
• Chemotherapy and immunotherapy incl. CART-T cell therapy
